Welcome to Hatinda Shiv Parvati Mandir

The Hatinda Shiv Parvati Mandir is an ancient shrine steeped in a 500-year-old legacy. Long ago, the *Shivalinga* (an iconic representation of Lord Shiva) was situated in the forest-covered area of Hatinda. Later, the renowned writer Shibram Chakraborty sold the Hatinda *Pargana* (region) to the King of Chanchal for a mere 25,000 rupees. One day, while passing along this route, the late Radhanath Saha—a prominent businessman from a neighboring village—spotted the *Shivalinga*.

Subsequently, he, along with his brother Lakshman Saha and their respective sons, acquired land from the King and constructed the current temple in Hatinda on the 13th of Phalgun, 1343 Bengali Date. Over the years, various committees have assumed responsibility for the temple's worship rituals and maintenance. At present, the Hatim Dasi Parvati Temple Trust holds full responsibility for the management and upkeep of the temple.
